George Johnson joined Park Place Porsche Dallas in February 2006 as Sales Manager. He was promoted to General Manager of Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth the same year.

Born in New York, George graduated from the College of Saint Rose and the University of Albany, State University of New York. He got into the car business right out of college but didn't expect to make it a career.

George found his way to California and in 2000, he graduated from the National Automobile Dealers Association GM Academy. He spent 15 years in the San Francisco Bay area overseeing several automotive brands.

In his tenure with Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth, George and his experienced team have earned the Mercedes-Benz Best of the Best 12 times.

George and Cathy, his wife of 33 years, would visit family in Texas and fell in love with the area. They now reside in Fort Worth and have two grown sons who live in California and Washington.

George is very active with local non-profits, including the Jewel Charity Ball; Leukemia Texas; Alliance for Children - Fort Worth; Samaritan House; and Presbyterian Night Shelter.  He also serves on the Board of the Mira Vista Country Club.

His advice to his team: "Find a way to make every experience truly special for our clients. People may forget what you said or did, but they won't forget the way you made them feel."
