Born and raised in Southlake, Texas, a suburban neighbor near Grapevine, Matt Woolsey graduated from Southlake Carroll High School, where he was a member of the golf team and theater.

Upon graduating from the Business Economics Program at the University of Texas in 1997, Matt joined Park Place Dealerships as a sales consultant at Park Place Motorcars (Mercedes-Benz) in Bedford, Texas. Within his first month, he was awarded "Salesman of the Month."

After two years on the sales floor, Matt was promoted into sales management and finance before becoming general manager of Park Place Motorcars Bedford.

In 2007, he joined Park Place Lexus, the first automotive dealer to win the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.  He's been named Park Place's "Coach of the Year" twice.

Under Matt's direction, Park Place Lexus Grapevine was recognized as an elite of Lexus Dealer and received a #1 national ranking in customer satisfaction.

In 2017, Matt opened JLR DFW.  With an award-winning Sales and Service team, JLR DFW has won both Pride of Jaguar and Pinnacle of Land Rover multiple times.

In 2021 Matt was General Manager at Jaguar Land Rover Porsche and Volvo of Greenville, SC.  He enjoyed his time there and was presented the opportunity to come back home.  Shortly before returning in the summer of 2022, Matt graduated NADA Academy.

Matt is very involved in the Southlake-Grapevine community. He's been married to his college sweetheart, Anne, for nearly 25 years. They have two sons, Austin and Bennett, who both graduated from Southlake Carroll High School.
